WHATEVER YOU DO
DO AS UNTO THE LORD AND ESPECIALLY FOR THE SAKE OF THE GOSPEL
Note that the following passages are addressed to Christians, to believers only = those who have trusted alone in Christ alone as Savior:
[1 Cor 10:31]:
(v. 31) "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
(v. 32) Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God
(v. 33) even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved."
[Compare Col 3:17]:
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
[1 Cor 6:19-20]:
(v. 19) "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, Whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
(v. 20) you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body."
