IX) TYPICAL ARGUMENTS RE: THE BOOK OF LIFE TO SUPPORT LOSS OF SALVATION

#1 The names of the saved are written there from the foundation of the world.

#2 The names of those cast into the lake of fire... most of them, were never written there in the first place.

#3 Simply slipping into sin and being repentant does not constitute losing your salvation, but one can turn with no desire to ever serve God again.

#4 We are told that a name can and will under certain circumstances be removed from the Book of Life.

#5 God, being God, doesn’t operate as a man, but as a just God who is sovereign.

#6 There are many passages that describe falling from grace.

#7 The Book of Life and the Lamb's Book of Life are the same book because they are singular.

#8 Only the saved are written in the Book of Life so if you get blotted out then you have lost your salvation and have to repent to get it back again.
